An optimist's view of Andrea Bargnani

Basketball fans don't exactly hold one of the newest members of the Nets, Andrea Bargnani, in the highest esteem. That is especially true for Knicks fans, who saw their favorite team give up three draft picks for a former No. 1 overall pick who would eventually disappoint in New York over and over again. 

But just because there are some bad numbers on Bargs doesn't mean they all tell a foreboding story. NetsDaily brings us the positive side of the man who heard his name called first in the 2006 draft:

Wait ... Andrea Bargnani?!

Yes indeed. Michael Dunlap argues that despite his two terrible seasons across the East River and a disappointing career as a No. 1 overall pick, Il Mago (aka "the Wizard") can do one thing very, very well and that is shoot.
