Cook, Cruz, Lopez agree with Phillies

Right-handers Aaron Cook, Juan Cruz and Rodrigo Lopez agreed Wednesday to minor league contracts with the Philadelphia Phillies and will report to spring training as non-roster players.

The 33-year-old Cook was 4-11 with a 5.65 ERA in 18 starts for Boston last year. He spent the previous 10 seasons with Colorado, becoming the Rockies' career leader in wins (72), innings (1,312 1-3) and starts (206). Cook is 76-79 with a 4.60 ERA in 224 starts and 32 relief appearances.

Cruz, 34, was 1-1 with three saves and a 2.78 ERA in 43 appearances for Pittsburgh last season. He's 38-36 with a 4.05 ERA in 447 games over 12 seasons with seven teams.

The 37-year-old Lopez, 37, was 0-1 with a 5.68 ERA in four relief appearances last year with the Chicago Cubs. He is 81-89 with a 4.82 ERA in 257 games over 11 seasons with six teams.
