The Crimson Tide enter Death Valley undefeated and highly rated. The LSU Tigers enter this week looking to play spoiler with an upset on their mind.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are undefeated and coming off a bye week. At 8-0 on the season and 5-0 in conference, they are arguably the nation’s best team. With the seventh ranked scoring offense and fifth ranked scoring defense, they travel to Baton Rouge this week to face the LSU Tigers.

The Crimson Tide defense allows just 70.8 rushing yards per game this season but will have their hands full with LSU running back Leonard Fournette this week.

Alabama has played one close game all season, defeating Ole Miss 48-43. But other than that game, the Crimson Tide have won every game this season by an average margin of 32.3 points per game. Could Alabama be pushed to the brink by the LSU defense this week?

The LSU Tigers have won three games in a row since the firing of head coach Les Miles. Under Ed Orgeron, they’ve found some new life and bring that this week against Alabama. They are 3-1 in the SEC and 5-2 this season.

Running back Leonard Fournette looks like he’s back to his old self after an injury. He ran for 284 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-21 victory over Ole Miss. Fournette looks to bring his explosive running ability this week to upset Alabama.

The LSU defense allows 13.1 points per game, which ranks third in the FBS. We’ll see if they can hold the Crimson Tide below that total.
