Oregon Ducks Look To Get Back On Winning Track vs Arizona State
The Oregon Ducks needed a wake-up call and will look to rebound against Arizona State.
The Oregon Ducks saw a 17 game winning streak snapped last week at Colorado in their first loss in close to two months. Dana Altman and Oregon will clean up mistakes against Arizona State on Thursday night.
Arizona State is struggling this season. They enter the game at 10-12(3-6 Pac-12).
Last Time Out:
Colorado jumped out to a 12-6 lead on Saturday and never looked back. Oregon was hurt in the final minutes without the services of Chris Boucher, Jordan Bell, and Dylan Ennis who all fouled out. Payton Pritchard led with 19 points in the Ducks first loss since November. The Ducks shot 39 percent for the game. Dillon Brooks had just six points.
The Sundevils average 81 points per game. Oregon is pushing 79 points. Both teams are on opposite sides when it comes to momentum. The Ducks have won four of their last five. ASU lost four of their last five games. Oregon is also averaging 3 more rebounds per game over Arizona State entering the game on Thursday night.
The key for Oregon is to not be caught looking ahead. A showdown with 5th Ranked Arizona awaits on Saturday afternoon. I expect that Dillon Brooks will get back on track against Arizona State.
