Arkansas' Kingsley enters NBA draft, won't hire agent

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 8:40 p.m. ET

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) Arkansas junior Moses Kingsley says he will enter the NBA draft without hiring an agent, leaving open the possibility of his return to the Razorbacks.

Kingsley, a 6-foot-10 center from Nigeria, was a second-team All-Southeastern Conference selection this season, averaging 15.9 points and 9.3 rebounds per game in his first season as a starter. He also averaged 2.4 blocks per game and shot 54.8 percent from the field.

Kingsley says he thinks receiving an evaluation from NBA scouts while keeping his eligibility at Arkansas is ''the right thing to do,'' while Razorbacks coach Mike Anderson says he supports the center's decision.

The deadline for Kingsley to withdraw from the draft and return to Arkansas for his senior year is May 25.
