Phillip Di Giuseppe - Grabs helper Saturday Di Giuseppe registered an assist, three hits and two PIM in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Senators.
Impact Di Giuseppe has a helper and eight hits over two NHL appearances this season. Head coach Rick Tocchet has plugged the 31-year-old forward right into a top-six role at even strength. Di Giuseppe's style is to be a heavy hitter who can chip in a little depth offense, but if he falters, Nils Hoglander or Max Sasson could get back into the lineup. Don't expect Di Giuseppe to score regularly enough to be an option in fantasy.

Tyler Myers - Records assist Saturday Myers produced an assist, two hits and two PIM in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Senators.
Impact Myers ended a five-game slump when he assisted on a Jake DeBrusk tally in the second period. The 34-year-old Myers has been playing on the top pairing in the absence of Filip Hronek (lower body), but the extra playing time continues to be a burden rather than a benefit. Myers is at eight points, 31 shots on net, 62 blocked shots, 38 hits, 24 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 33 appearances. While he chips in with lots of non-scoring production, he's a risky option in most fantasy formats.

Pius Suter - Sets up equalizer Suter notched an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Senators.
Impact The helper was Suter's second over his last seven games. The 28-year-old's offense has taken a significant drop since J.T. Miller returned, bumping Suter out of the top six. Suter is at 11 goals, eight assists, 58 shots on net and a plus-7 rating through 32 appearances, but he'd likely have to move back to the wing to play above the third line, and that's not even a guarantee given the Canucks' strong wing depth.

Conor Garland - Offers assist Saturday Garland notched an assist in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Senators.
Impact Garland's goal drought is up to 11 games, and his helper was his first point since he had two assists versus the Blues on Dec. 10. The 28-year-old winger had been one of the Canucks' most consistent players early on, but it looks like he's starting to falter. He's at 26 points, 74 shots on net, 21 hits, 15 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 33 appearances this season.

J.T. Miller - Generates assist Miller notched an assist and went minus-2 in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Senators.
Impact Miller helped out on a Quinn Hughes tally late in the first period. The 31-year-old Miller has four helpers over his last six games and continues to see top-six minutes, though not at the same volume as in previous seasons. He's contributed six goals, 14 assists, 39 shots on net, 49 hits and a minus-1 rating through 23 appearances, and he's not blocking a lot of shots after logging at least 50 blocks in three straight campaigns. Miller still has all-around appeal in fantasy, but his recent struggles make him a buy-low target.

Jake DeBrusk - Nets goal Saturday DeBrusk scored a goal in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Senators.
Impact DeBrusk had gone four games without a point, matching his longest drought of the season. He's been a strong finisher in December with eight tallies and one assist over 11 contests this month. The winger is at 15 goals, 24 points, 72 shots on net, 50 hits, 21 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 33 appearances. While the Canucks' top forwards have struggled a bit lately, DeBrusk is still finding success in a top-six role.

Quinn Hughes - Three-point effort in overtime loss Hughes scored a goal on five shots and added two assists in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Senators.
Impact Hughes has three multi-point efforts over his last six outings. The 25-year-old defenseman did everything he could to keep the Canucks in this contest, and it was good enough for one point in the standings. Hughes is up to eight goals, 40 points, 108 shots on net, 29 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating over 33 appearances, giving him a chance to take a run at a 100-point season.

Brock Boeser - Two tallies in overtime loss Boeser scored two goals on three shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Senators.
Impact Boeser ended a four-game slump with the pair of goals, but it wasn't enough to get the Canucks back on track. The winger is up to 10 goals, 21 points, 50 shots on net, 30 hits and a minus-5 rating over 26 appearances. Boeser continues to log top-six minutes and is scoring at a 20 percent clip, though his decrease of about half a shot per game has taken a chunk out of his offense this season.

Kevin Lankinen - Stumbles in overtime loss Lankinen allowed five goals on 20 shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Senators.
Impact Lankinen had one of his worst games of the year. The Canucks were able to overcome three of the deficits he created, but Jake Sanderson ended it in favor of the Senators just 13 seconds into overtime. This was Lankinen's second start and defeat in a row (0-1-1), dropping him to 14-5-4 with a 2.61 GAA and a .907 save percentage over 23 starts this season. Expect Thatcher Demko to get the starting nod Monday versus the Sharks.
