The Suns are inducting Steve Nash into the team’s Ring of Honor during Phoenix’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday, and it looks like a special pair of Nash NBA socks will be part of the festivities.

This is the first season that Stance has been contracted as the league’s official sock provider, and it’s nice to see that they’re able to have a little fun with this part of the uniform on special occasions. And what better opportunity than to honor Nash? It’s an event so historic that even former teammate Dirk Nowitzki is planning to be on hand.

The recently-retired Nash famously played for the Suns from 2004 until 2012. The two-time NBA MVP will be the fourteenth member of the Suns Ring of Honor, the Phoenix team’s highest accolade.
