Fifth-Place in Cook Out 400 Byron finished fifth in the Cook Out 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

Impact Byron would qualify on the outside pole and show great speed all weekend in Virginia. The driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet would lead 6 laps early on but that would be the limit of his time at the front. Byron would struggle a bit with handling in stage 2 but he would rally back in the final stage and cross the finish line for a strong fifth-place in the Cook Out 400. It was his second Top 5 of the season.
