49ers vs. Rams Live Updates, Score: San Francisco Outlasts LA in Overtime

Week 5 of the NFL season got underway with another NFC West rivalry on Thursday Night Football. 

It was a thriller as the San Francisco 49ers outlasted the Los Angeles Rams, 26-23, in overtime, and took sole possession of first place in the division. 

The Rams had won the past three matchups between the two sides and were in position to keep that streak alive as the 49ers were down a slew of key players. However, San Franscisco, led by quarterback Mac Jones, caught Los Angeles off guard and upset them in SoFi Stadium.
