Jake Retzlaff - Rough performance in loss Retzlaff completed five of 17 passes for 56 yards during Saturday's 45-10 defeat to Mississippi. He also had eight rushes for 51 yards.
Impact After a strong start to his Tulane career, Retzlaff logged one of the worst games of his career Saturday, as it's the first time he hasn't thrown for over 100 yards in a start. The junior did continue to use his legs a lot, though, and is now averaging over 84 yards per game on the ground this season.

Brendan Sullivan - Throws touchdown pass in relief Sullivan was five of 12 passing for 48 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 45-10 defeat to Mississippi. He also had six rushes for 10 yards.
Impact Sullivan saw his most action of the season so far this week after subbing in for starting quarterback Jake Retzlaff during Tulane's blowout loss. The Iowa transfer is still trying to prove himself after losing out on the starting job during training camp.

Austin Simmons - Doesn't play in beatdown of Tulane Simmons (ankle) didn't play in Ole Miss' 35-10 win over Tulane.
Impact The quarterback was expected to only be available in an emergency role for the Rebels, and luckily for Ole Miss it didn't need him in an easy win over Tulane. In his stead, Trinidad Chambliss started and played well, tossing for over 300 yards and rushing for over 100. Now, Simmons will look to be available for a huge matchup with LSU.
