Walter Taylor III - Returning to Vandy as TE Taylor will transfer back to Vanderbilt as a tight end, per The Tennessean.

Impact Taylor started his career at Vanderbilt as a quarterback, and played a handful of snaps at gunslinger in Nashville in 2023. After signing with Ball State and failing to get involved with the Cardinals, he'll head back to the Commodores, switching positions to play in Vanderbilt's tight end room.

Ja'Cory Thomas - Lands with Commodores Thomas will transfer to Vanderbilt, per On3.com.

Impact Thomas logged his first collegiate stats at the D-1 level in 2025, reeling in 41 catches for 714 yards and five touchdowns with Old Dominion last fall. Now, the wideout will take his talents to the SEC at Vanderbilt, where he appears to have one season of eligibility remaining.

Cole Adams - Headed to Nashville Adams will transfer to Vanderbilt, per On3.com.

Impact Adams spent three seasons with Alabama, and was a minor part of the passing game. He totaled 13 catches for 176 yards and a touchdown. Now, with two years of eligibility remaining, he'll take his talents to Vanderbilt, where the 5-foot-10, 183-pound receiver will look to crack the Commodores' rotation immediately.

Jayvontay Conner - Heading to Vanderbilt Conner has committed to Vanderbilt, Hayes Fawcett of On3.com reports.

Impact Conner started his career at Ole Miss, but he's spent the past two years at ECU. He became a starter in 2025, catching 23 of 35 passes for 333 yards and three touchdowns.

Tre Richardson - Leads receiving front in bowl loss Richardson posted six receptions (on 13 targets) for 127 yards and one touchdown during Wednesday's 34-27 loss against Iowa.

Impact Richardson continued his recent tear into the Commodores' bowl game versus the Hawkeyes, surpassing 100 yards for the third time in his last three games and finding the end zone for a fourth straight showing. The junior wide receiver will now close out the entirety of his junior campaign with a 46-806-7 receiving line, and with the most receiving yards for Vandy. He has one year of eligibility remaining to use up as he pleases, that is, if he decides to stay at the collegiate level.

Diego Pavia - Huge day not enough Pavia completed 25 of 38 passes for 347 yards and two touchdowns during Wednesday's 34-27 defeat to Iowa. He also had 15 rushes for 36 yards with one touchdown.

Impact Pavia closed out a storybook senior season with a huge output against a stingy Iowa defense, including three total touchdowns. All told, he found pay dirt 39 times combined (29 as a passer, 10 as a runner) during his final campaign, both career-high marks while completing a career-best 70.4 percent of his 379 pass attempts for 3,539 yards (also a career-best) and rushing 167 times for 862 yards. This presumably spells the end to Pavia's college career after being awarded an additional season of eligibility most other players weren't because of his time in junior college. Assuming that's the case, Pavia's next step will be prepping for a chance to possibly hear his name called in the 2026 NFL Draft, and he's currently viewed as a likely Day 3 or free agent acquisition next spring.

Junior Sherrill - Eclipses 100 yards in loss Sherrill tallied eight receptions (on 10 targets) for 123 yards during Wednesday's 34-27 defeat to Iowa.

Impact Sherrill surpassed 100 yards for just the second time this season, but it wasn't enough to topple Iowa in the ReliaQuest Bowl. The junior wideout had a career year in 2025, reeling in 54 catches for 784 yards and seven touchdowns, also rushing for a score on four carries for 16 yards. Should he elect to run it back in Nashville in 2026, he should be the Commodores' top wideout once again.

Sedrick Alexander - Minimal usage in bowl loss Alexander had three rushes for seven yards and gathered in 3 of 4 targets for 19 yards during Wednesday's 34-27 loss against Iowa.

Impact Alexander barely utilized on the ground in the loss to the Hawkeyes, logging a season-low three rushes for seven yards. The junior ball carrier luckily salvaged his performance with three grabs for 19 yards, but he still finished with an underwhelming stat line. He'll close out the entirety of this campaign with 106 rushes for 570 yards and 11 touchdowns, along with 19 receptions for 200 yards and four touchdowns. Alexander has one year of eligibility remaining after three years with Vandy behind him.

Chance Fitzgerald - Enters transfer portal Fitzgerald is entering the transfer portal, Robbie Weinstein of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Fitzgerald, who transferred to Vanderbilt last December, will jump back in the portal this offseason. He did not see any playing time for the Commodores this season so the decision is not much of a surprise. He may look for a smaller school where he can earn more of a role in the offense.
