Braylen Russell - Slimmer and healthy
Russell (undisclosed) has slimmed down to 235 pounds and is healthy for Arkansas' spring camp, Jackson Fuller of the Fort Smith Southwest Times Record reports.
Impact
It appears that Russell has three pounds, as his last recorded weight was 238 during Arkansas' 2025 season. Now that the running back is healthy, perhaps he can not only lose a few more if warranted but also better prepare himself for another promising season. Despite fewer rushing attempts and yards last year, Russell still logged 55 and 286 respectively to go with his career-high five touchdowns.

Jamari Hawkins - Healthy for spring camp
Hawkins (undisclosed) is healthy for Arkansas' spring camp, Jackson Fuller of the Fort Smith Southwest Times Record reports.
Impact
Arkansas' receiver corps may be dealing with a litany of injuries, but that is no longer the case for Hawkins, who logged first-team reps Tuesday. Perhaps he is on pace to be a top wideout for the Razorbacks after his 2025 season, during which he logged 623 receiving yards on 38 receptions (and 50 targets) and two touchdowns for Memphis.

AJ Hill - Dueling Jackson for QB1 gig
Hill is in a quarterback battle for the starting role with KJ Jackson, per On3.
Impact
Hill spent his freshman season at Memphis, tossing for 223 yards, one touchdown and one interception on 59.4 percent completion before following his head coach Ryan Silverfield over to Arkansas. Now, he's in prime position to compete for the QB1 gig, although he'll have to beat out the more-experienced Jackson in the process.

KJ Jackson - Set to battle Hill for QB1 gig
Jackson is in a quarterback competition with Memphis transfer AJ Hill, per On3.
Impact
Jackson saw limited action last season for Arkansas in relief of starter Taylen Green, and he performed admirably. Jackson tossed for 441 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions on 61.1 percent completion, also rushing for 52 yards and two scores. He'll duke it out with Memphis transfer AJ Hill, who came over with the Hogs' new head coach Ryan Silverfield. Those two appear to be in the drivers seat for the QB1 gig in Fayetteville in 2026.

Monte Harrison - Could return soon
Harrison (leg) could return to action soon for the Hogs, per On3.
Impact
Harrison only played in two games last season before breaking his leg, but the wideout is reportedly progressing well in his recovery and could return to action shortly if his rehab continues to go as scheduled. The wideout has three career catches for 58 yards.

Jalen Brown - Limited through spring ball
Brown (leg) will be limited in Arkansas' spring practice, per On3.
Impact
Brown played five games for the Hogs last season and was a staple of their receiving corps, logging 12 catches for 167 yards and two touchdowns before suffering a season-ending leg injury. That ailment appears to still be nagging him, as the receiver remains limited in Arkansas' spring camp. Still, he's reportedly progressing, and there's still plenty of time for him to regain full strength before the season kicks off.

Ismael Cisse - Healthy for spring ball
Cisse (wrist) is healthy for Arkansas' spring practice period, per On3.
Impact
Cisse missed the entirety of the 2025 season after a weightlifting injury cut his season short before it could begin. Now, the former Stanford transfer is back on the gridiron, and should be a staple of the Hogs' receiver rotation this season if he can stay healthy.
