Jadan Blue - Quiet in opener Blue caught one pass for nine yards against Rutgers.
Impact It was a quiet day for the redshirt junior as he caught just one pass in the team's blowout loss. Blue has proved to be a capable receiver in his career, going for over 1000 yards in 2019. The 6-foot-0 receiver will look to continue to grow his connection with new starting quarterback D'Wan Mathis as the season progresses.

Edward Saydee - Productive before injury Saydee rushed the ball 12 times for 57 yards while scoring a rushing touchdown as well as catching two passes for 25 yards before getting sidelined due to a leg injury against Rutg...
Impact The 5-foot-11 running back was one of the only bright spots on the Owls' offense before leaving due to a leg injury in the team's blowout loss to Rutgers. Saydee was the only position player on Temple to find the end zone and was also able to walk off the field on his own power after the injury. If healthy for next week the redshirt freshman will look to lead Temple in rushing yet as the team takes on Akron.

Jose Barbon - Leads team in receiving Barbon caught two passes for 48 yards against Rutgers.
Impact The redshirt sophomore's 48 yards were enough to lead the team in Temple's blowout loss to Rutgers. Barbon was targeted five times and appears to be more involved in the offense than he was last season. The 6-foot-0 receiver will continue to try to assert himself as a legit receiving threat in the Owls' offense as the season progresses.

Impact It was not the debut for the Owls that the Georgia transfer was looking for. Mathis couldn't get anything going in the air and completed just 32 percent of his passes while turning it over as well. The 6-foot-6 quarterback left the game early due to an ankle injury as well and will look to get healthy for next week's matchup against Akron.
