Peny Boone - Excels as backup runner in win Boone compiled 10 rushes for 54 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 45-14 win against Sam Houston State.

Impact Boone was able to play a bit more due to the blowout, but Boone is also firmly established as the change-of-pace back weekly for the Knights. UCF has several tough opponents upcoming on the schedule, so this could be the highest total we see from Boone for a while.

RJ Harvey - Romps for four touchdowns Harvey recorded 19 rushes for 126 yards and four touchdowns during Saturday's 45-14 win against Sam Houston State.

Impact The Knights did little more than hand Harvey the rock, as Saam Houston had no answer for his running ability. The senior has some of the best running stats in the country currently with 268 yards and six touchdowns through two games.

KJ Jefferson - Efficient in victory Jefferson completed 12 of 15 passes for 169 yards during Saturday's 45-14 win against Sam Houston State. He also had nine rushes for 50 yards.

Impact Jefferson had very little trouble on Saturday, utilizing his dual-threat ability to great effect. He wasn't personally responsible for any of the team's touchdowns, but that will be a rare event for the Knights this season.

Noah Smith - Completely lost in 2024 Smith threw a touchdown pass, but only had one catch for five yards against UCF on Saturday.

Impact In 2023, Smith was the bright spot in Sam Houston's offense as it moved from the FCS to the FBS. Well, though two games in 2024 he has three catches for 16 yards. That's a very concerning start for Noah.
