CJ Bailey - Throws two INTs Bailey was 17-for-30 passing for 120 yards and two interceptions during Saturday's 41-7 defeat against Miami (FL). He also had six rushes for 11 yards with one touchdown.
Impact Bailey's interceptions came on back-to-back plays to end the first quarter, one of which was returned for a touchdown. Saturday's contest marked Bailey's third multi-interception performance and his second sub-200-yard outing. Impact NC State mustered up just one touchdown and totaled 23 rushing yards, and Smothers didn't do much to bolster the Wolfpack's offensive attack. Four of his carries went for negative yards, and another went for no gain. Smothers, when healthy, had been an elite producer this season, as he had rushed 120 times for 825 yards and six touchdowns over eight games before Saturday's dud.
