Kyron Hudson - Finds paydirt in opener Hudson compiled six receptions (on eight targets) for 89 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 46-11 victory versus Nevada.
Impact Hudson transferred from USC, where he saw plenty of action but wasn't projected to be the main guy moving forward. Early on, he's showing that the move to Happy Valley was a wise one. The Nittany Lions needed more options after Tyler Warren's departure, and the acquisitions of Hudson and Trebor Pena aptly filled the gap in their first contest.

Trebor Pena - Excellent in Penn State debut Pena accrued seven receptions (on eight targets) for 74 yards during Saturday's 46-11 win over Nevada.
Impact The former Syracuse wideout was projected to have an immediate impact for Drew Allar and the offense, and he did not disappoint in his first game in Happy Valley. While Pena failed to find the end zone, he led all pass-catchers with seven receptions. He's firmly entrenched in a starting role alongside Kyron Hudson and should continue to see several looks from Allar moving forward.

Kaytron Allen - Scores once in opener Allen had eight rushes for 43 yards and one touchdown and gathered in all two targets for two yards during Saturday's 46-11 win against Nevada.
Impact One certainty in Penn State's offense is the production generated by Allen and Nicholas Singleton. While Singleton will usually begin the game in the backfield, Allen will often get equal time and opportunity. Both backs saw similar snaps and rushed eight times in the blowout, and we should see increased production from them as the schedule becomes more competitive.

Nicholas Singleton - Dominant in blowout win Singleton recorded eight rushes for 19 yards and two touchdowns and hauled in 4 of 5 targets for 37 yards during Saturday's 46-11 win over Nevada.
Impact Singleton and Kaytron Allen form one of the best running back tandems in the country, and both backs showed their stuff in Penn State's opener. Singleton is projected to build a stronger fantasy resume over Allen as the season progresses, and he got off on the right foot with two touchdowns on the ground and solid contributions in the passing game.

Ethan Grunkemeyer - Shines in relief Grunkemeyer was 7-for-9 passing for 86 yards during Saturday's 46-11 victory over Nevada. He also had three rushes for eight yards with one touchdown.
Impact With the game well in hand, Grunkemeyer replaced Drew Allar and demonstrated Penn State's depth at the position. He ran for one score and looked sharp in the pocket while also showing off his dual-play ability. Should Allar get injured, the Nittany Lions appear to be in good hands with a reliable backup.

Drew Allar - Efficient in blowout win Allar completed 22 of 26 passes for 217 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 46-11 victory versus Nevada. He also had six rushes for 20 yards.
Impact While Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen did most of the heavy lifting in the first half, Allar made this most of his opportunities in the passing game before giving way to Ethan Grunkemeyer in the blowout. The transfer addition of Trebor Pena reaped immediate benefits, as Allar connected with him seven times. Allar's past campaigns have illustrated his efficiency as a game manager, but he could be in store for increased passing production as OC Andy Kotelnicki attempts to diversify the offense.
