Darius Taylor - Held quiet against Buckeyes Taylor notched eight carries for 12 yards and reeled in 1 of 2 targets for six yards during Saturday's 42-3 defeat versus Ohio State.
Impact Taylor had tough sledding on a day in which the Minnesota offense as a whole was completely shut down by a dominant Ohio State defense. The 6-foot running back totaled just 12 yards on eight attempts after being cleared to return following a two-game absence due to a leg injury suffered against Northwestern State. A home matchup against Purdue will serve as a much better opportunity for Taylor to make his mark for the Golden Gophers.

Impact It was a tough day overall for the Minnesota offense as the Golden Gophers managed just 162 yards of total offense on the day. Lindsey struggled against the Bucks, completing 58 percent of his passes for a season-low 94 yards without a score. Better days lie ahead for the 6-foot-5 quarterback, starting with a home matching against Purdue on Saturday.
