Impact DeShields threw for his best passing yard total since Week 3 against the Cardinals, but he was unable to find the end zone in the loss. Kiael Kelly - Bounces back against Kent State Kelly was 17-for-29 passing for 173 yards and two touchdowns during Wednesday's 17-13 win over Kent State. He also had 21 rushes for 53 yards.
Impact Kelly has struggled as a passer for most of this season and made up for it on the ground, but he established a great passing performance against the Flashes. The starting quarterback threw two touchdowns for the first time in six weeks and the second time this season. He also got the Cardinals their third win in the MAC. Kelly will look for another victory against Eastern Michigan at home next Saturday.
