Jerand Bradley - Two snaps against Baylor Bradley didn't register any counting stats during Saturday's game against Baylor.
Impact Bradley missed Kansas State's last two games before suiting up against Baylor. However, the wideout played just two snaps -- a significantly smaller role than he's had when healthy. Keep an eye on his status ahead of the Wildcats' Oct. 11 matchup with TCU.
OCTOBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Garrett Oakley - Career-high 10 targets in loss Oakley logged seven receptions (on 10 targets) for 54 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 35-34 loss to Baylor.
Impact Oakley received a career-high 10 targets as Kansas State had a wild back-and-forth game with the Bears. Oakley was also able to record a touchdown for the second straight week and is definitely a consideration for fantasy line-ups at the tight end position. Oakley has at least four targets in five of six games and has heated up of late. He should continue to see a healthy handful of opportunities against TCU next week.
OCTOBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Jaron Tibbs - Six grabs and 80 yards in loss Tibbs notched six receptions (on nine targets) for 80 yards during Saturday's 35-34 defeat versus Baylor.
Impact Tibbs has received at least four targets in all six games this year. He's been the team's possession receiver while Jayce Brown has been the explosive playmaker on the outside. Tibbs has seen an uptick in work over the last two weeks with 14 catches (on 19 targets) for 152 yards. That type of volume suggests a touchdown or two is coming and it could come as early as this week against TCU.
OCTOBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Jayce Brown - Records second 100-yard game Brown recorded four receptions (on seven targets) for 106 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 35-34 loss to Baylor.
Impact Brown recorded his second 100-yard receiving game of the season and nabbed his third touchdown reception. It was his first touchdown reception since Week 1 against North Dakota. When healthy, Brown has been one of the best receivers in the conference and Kansas State has needed his explosive plays when trying to compete with opponents. Brown is on pace for a career-year with 29 grabs (on 48 targets) for 390 yards and three touchdowns in five games. Kansas State will play TCU in a game that should have a ton of offense next week.
OCTOBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Dylan Edwards - Injury scare and TD against Baylor Edwards tallied 10 rushes for 26 yards and one touchdown and hauled in all two targets for 12 yards during Saturday's 35-34 defeat against Baylor.
Impact Edwards did briefly leave the game with an injury on the opening drive, however, was able to return and added his second rushing touchdown in the third quarter. It's possible he was somewhat limited as RB Joe Jackson saw a season-high 18 total touches, including six targets in the passing game. Stay tuned to see if Edwards is a full-go against TCU as Kansas State will need all the offensive firepower they can get against the Horned Frogs.
OCTOBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Joe Jackson - Totals over 100 yards in loss Jackson totaled 13 rushes for 61 yards and hauled in 5 of 6 targets for 41 yards during Saturday's 35-34 defeat to Baylor.
Impact Jackson saw a season-high 18 touches as starter Dylan Edwards had yet another injury scare early in the game. Edwards did return to the game and rushed for 26 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Depending on Edwards' health, it's possible that Jackson will continue to see double-digit touches when the team hosts TCU next week.
OCTOBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Blake Barnett - Limited snaps in nailbiter Barnett completed 0 of 0 passes for zero yards during Saturday's 35-34 defeat against Baylor. He logged three rushing attempts for three yards.
Impact Barnett nearly fumbled the ball; however, Kansas State was able to keep possession. In the Wildcats' last two games, Barnett has eight rushing attempts to give QB Avery Johnson some rest as he has seen an uptick in his passing and rushing volume. Kansas State will play TCU next week.
