Evan Stewart - Modest outing in Oregon debut Stewart reeled in three of five targets for 15 yards during Saturday's 24-14 win versus Idaho. Impact Stewart got off to a slow start in his Oregon career. The junior wideout from Texas A&M was one of the highest-rated player in the transfer portal this offseason, and he is expected to form one of the nation's most dangerous 1-2 punches at wideout this season alongside Tez Johnson. However, Stewart's target share got lost in the shuffle Week 1, as he finished third in this category behind Johnson (13) and tight end Terrance Ferguson (nine) on Saturday. What's more concerning was that he only saw five targets on a day in which quarterback Dillon Gabriel completed 41 of 49 passing attemps for 380 yards. This could have something to do with the fact that Oregon needed to lean on its more proven playmakers in what was a much tighter win than expected Week 1. Stewart will look to make a bigger impact when Oregon faces one of the best teams from the G5 ranks in Boise State next Saturday.
