Arhmad Branch - Surpasses century mark in win Branch compiled three receptions (on four targets) for 101 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 31-0 victory versus Ball State.

Impact Branch scored the first touchdown of the game but cooled down after that, ending the game with just three receptions. Given Ball State's lack of success, there was little need to move the ball through the air, but Branch will surely be a source of production in more competitive contests.

Devin Mockobee - Posts diverse line in victory Mockobee compiled 14 carries for 59 yards and one touchdown and hauled in all two targets for 45 yards during Saturday's 31-0 victory against Ball State.

Impact Mockobee got the job done on the ground and also shined in the passing game during Saturday's blowout. Now in his fourth year with Purdue, Mockobee has excelled with solid numbers every season. He led all rushers Saturday, and that should be a repeated trend throughout the 2025 campaign. QB Ryan Browne's standout play, combined with Mockobee's reliability, bode well for the Boilermakers' fortunes.

Malachi Singleton - Makes brief appearance in win Singleton completed 2 of 3 passes for 29 yards during Saturday's 31-0 victory over Ball State.

Impact Singleton had the inside track to the starting job after Ryan Browne committed to UNC, but he was unable to seal the deal in camp after Browne returned to the team. For now, he'll serve as Browne's backup and will only see extended action if Browne gets injured or struggles in conference play.

Ryan Browne - Brilliant in blowout win Browne completed 18 of 26 passes for 311 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 31-0 victory versus Ball State. He also had seven rushes for five yards with one touchdown.

Impact Browne connected with Ahmad Branch for a touchdown within the first minute of the game and didn't look back. He rushed for on TD and added another touchdown pass before exiting the game. The Boilermakers were happy to get Browne back in the fold after Bill Belichick's hiring apparently lessened his odds for a starting gig at UNC. He returned to Purdue and won the job outright over Malachi Singleton. Saturday was an easy test for Browne, and we'll see how he stands up to Big Ten competition when they face USC in two weeks.

Isaiah Thacker - Available for opener Thacker (undisclosed) will be active for Saturday's season opener against Purdue.

Impact Thacker, who dealt with an undisclosed injury this offseason, has cleared Ball State's injury report ahead of Saturday's opener against Purdue. The 5-foot-11 redshirt sophomore appeared in eight games with Ball State this last season, but he has yet to record a collegiate reception.
