Jace T. Gilbert - Sidelined again Saturday Gilbert (undisclosed) didn't play in Saturday's loss to Arizona State.
Impact Gilbert has been sidelined since Week 1 due to an undisclosed injury. His next chance to play will be Week 8 versus Iowa State.

Chamon Metayer - Catches another touchdown Saturday Metayer reeled in all six targets for 68 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-19 victory over Iowa State.
Impact Metayer caught his third touchdown of the season Saturday, an 18-yard reception in the second quarter from Jeff Sims. He has caught at least four passes and gained at least 55 yards in each of the last three games, a level of consistency that's rare among tight ends.

Raleek Brown - Leads backfield in win Brown accrued 16 rushes for 64 yards and caught 2 of 5 targets for eight yards during Saturday's 24-19 victory versus Iowa State.
Impact Brown had 18 touches in Saturday's win, and he finished the game with a solid 72 yards from scrimmage. He did not score which hurt his overall performance, but he maintained his place as the clear No. 1 back. It's worth noting that new starting quarterback Jeff Sims ran 29 times for 228 yards and two touchdowns which obviously could impact Brown for the future. Sims has not really shown that type of rushing ability throughout his career, so it's very possible this was an outlier performance.

Jeff Sims - Explodes on ground Saturday Sims was 13-for-24 passing for 177 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 24-19 victory versus Iowa State. He also had 29 rushes for 228 yards with two touchdo...
Impact Sims returned to the starting lineup with Sam Leavitt (foot) now out for the season, and he put together a shocking performance. He threw for 177 yards and one touchdown, but the majority of his production came on the ground. He ran the ball 29 times for a whopping 228 yards, more than he's had in either of the last season. He also scored two rushing touchdowns, including an 88-yard run in the third quarter. He has not really shown this much of an ability to run yet in his long collegiate career, so this performance was extremely surprising. With Sims now set to start the final three regular season games, he is set to be a relevant fantasy option especially with two favorable matchups coming up.

Gabe Burkle - Two catches in loss against ASU Burkle reeled in 2 of 4 targets for 14 yards during Saturday's 24-19 loss against Arizona State.
Impact Burkle recorded at least two catches in his fifth straight game. He's likely due for an uptick in targets as teammate Benjamin Brahmer was carted off the field late in the loss to Arizona State. He'll have that opportunity when the team plays at TCU next week.

Chase Sowell - Team-high 12 targets in loss Sowell reeled in 6 of 12 targets for 85 yards during Saturday's 24-19 defeat versus Arizona State.
Impact Sowell recorded a season-high 12 targets as Iowa State fell in a closely contested game with Arizona State. Sowell unfortunately had a couple of drops and fell short of the first-down line on the final offensive play for the Cyclones. It will be interesting to see if he can build on this performance and be one of Iowa State's top playmakers down the stretch. They'll play a good TCU squad next week.
