Rams' Jared Goff tosses out first pitch at Dodgers game

The much anticipated first toss by Jared Goff at a professional game was a strike... on the outside corner. The Rams QB had the honor of throwing out the first pitch before the Dodgers faced the Colorado Rockies at Dodgers Stadium on Monday.
Soaking up the sights and sounds on the field with teammates prior to his first pitch, Goff met with Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig to bury the hatchet after their minor Twitter snafu. And the Rams' No. 1 pick of the 2016 NFL Draft even got in a bit of batting pratice taking a few nice cuts.

A brief pep talk from Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw must have inspired the Rams' QB, as Goff threw a breaking ball that painted the outside corner.
Not bad for his LA debut but he'll likely feel a bit more pressure in his first real test in the Rams' preseason opener Aug. 13 against the Cowboys at the Coliseum.
