Dez Bryant: Saints defense will pay if they double me
IRVING, Texas -- Dez Bryant knows what's coming Sunday night. He's getting double-teamed.
New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan learned a few things about the Pro Bowl wide receiver when Ryan was the Cowboys' defensive coordinator from 2011 to 2012.
"I always had a good time with Coach Ryan," Bryant said. "He's still one of my favorites to this day. I know he's going to double me. I know he is. I'm ready for it."
Ryan had the Saints defense double Bryant throughout last year's 49-17 Cowboys loss in New Orleans. Bryant finished with one catch for 44 yards.
But judging by how Dallas has been running the ball with the NFL's leading rusher, DeMarco Murray, it might be difficult for the Saints to bracket Bryant the way they did last season.

"DeMarco is turning straight beast mode," Bryant said. "If they want to keep doubling [me], DeMarco will just run for 150 or 200 more [yards]."
Bryant has been limited in practice this week with a sore right shoulder. He was wearing a small pad on his shoulder while being interviewed on Thursday. But Bryant expects to play Sunday and he doesn't plan on getting a pain-killing shot before the game.
"My shoulder feels good," Bryant said. "It feels 10 times better than it felt last week."
Also, don't expect to see Bryant wearing his trademark helmet visor any more. Bryant has been getting fined by the league for wearing the tinted shield.
"Just makes me feel a certain way. It's crazy," Bryant said of the visor. "I believe in, 'You feel good, you play good.' That's why I wore it, and it does help with the light."
