Cowboys WR Beasley: Dez Bryant is a football version of Einstein

OXNARD, Calif. -- Cole Beasley thinks Dez Bryant is misunderstood.

Heading to the locker room while time was still on the clock against Green Bay and arguing with Jason Witten on the sidelines in Detroit has led outsiders to paint a different picture of the guy Beasley interacts with on a daily basis.

"He's the most unselfish guy," Beasley said. "People think he's not a team guy because the media makes him look bad on TV sometimes, but he's got so much fire and he's so passionate about stuff it's hard for him. He can't take losing.

"But he's the most unselfish guy. Anybody would play so hard for him."

While discussing how Bryant interacts with the other wide receivers off the field, Beasley touched on the Bryant he studies with in the film room. If you think one of the NFL's top receivers is solely relying on his athletic ability, Beasley says, think again.

"He knows what he's doing out there," Beasley said. "Out here, he's like on a different level ... he would be like a mathematician, but like in football, a really good one, like Einstein.

"He's Einstein out here. I wouldn't say Einstein, that's [Tony] Romo, but I mean he's definitely a smart football player and what he can do physically puts him over everybody."
