TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed receiver and return man Trindon Holliday and promoted defensive end T.J. Fatinikun from the practice squad to the active roster.

To make room for the additions, the team waived receiver Solomon Patton and defensive end Scott Solomon on Tuesday.

Holliday entered the NFL as a sixth-round draft pick of the Houston Texans in the 2010 draft. He's also played for the Denver Broncos, appearing in 31 regular-season games while returning 80 punts for 752 yards and two touchdowns. He's returned 49 kickoffs for 1,327 yards and two TDs.
