Wild's Yeo: Struggling Fontaine a healthy scratch vs. Red Wings
Minnesota Wild coach Mike Yeo isn't pleased with what he's seeing from forward Justin Fontaine.
As a result, Fontaine will be a healthy scratch for the first time this season in Monday's game against the Detroit Red Wings. Yeo told reporters that he expects more from Fontaine, who has been held without a goal in each of his last nine contests.

After mustering a career-high 31 points in 2014-15, Fontaine has been slowed out of the blocks due to injury this season. The 28-year-old has scored just two goals and set up six others, with one tally and four assists coming in 13 games since returning from an MCL injury.
Fontaine, who will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, has scored 24 goals and set up 36 others in 158 career contests - all with the Wild.
"I want to see him take a step in his career because we have a lot of confidence what he can do and what he can be as a player. He's shown signs of it from game to game. In certain games, it’s just a matter of making sure the consistency is there night after night, shift and shift. That’s what he has to discover in his game."
