Wild unveil alumni jerseys for Stadium Series game versus Blackhawks

Former NHLer Neal Broten donned a fairly familiar-looking jersey recently on the Minnesota Wild's team site.
The ex-Minnesota North Stars forward and member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team unveiled the uniform to be worn by the combined Minnesota representatives in the 2016 NHL Stadium Series alumni game against the Chicago Blackhawks. The tilt will take place at TCF Bank Stadium on the University of Minnesota campus on Feb. 20, one day ahead of the NHL battle between the Central Division-rival Wild and Blackhawks.

The Minnesota alumni jersey features the traditional North Stars' logo and green with gold color scheme, although a Wild logo also appears on the shoulder.
The jersey also met the approval of a very famous former North Star in Mike Modano.

"It’s fun to put on this jersey. I think the fans will get a kick out of watching us play on Saturday just because of the rivalry in the past. I think fans will remember the games we used to play at the old Met Center against the Blackhawks. It should be a fun game, and then of course, the game on Sunday will be packed."
