Toronto's Dallas dominance by the numbers

The Toronto Maple Leafs have three wins this season and two of them came against the Dallas Stars, a strange turn of events considering the Stars lead the Western Conference with a 12-4-0 record while the Leafs sit in second-to-last place in the East. Here's a look at the numbers behind Toronto's wins over Dallas.
2-0: The Maple Leafs have a 2-0 record against the Stars for the second consecutive season, as the Leafs also swept the Stars last year.
3-for-6: The Leafs' power play works very well against the Stars, as the Leafs are 3-for-6 on the man-advantage through two games against the Stars. That's an impressive rate, especially considering the Leafs have a mediocre 16.3 success rate on the power play against the NHL as a whole.
.963: James Reimer has played in net for both games against the Stars and is rocking a .963 save percentage by stopping 79 of the 82 Stars shots he faced. Reimer has a .897 save percentage against everyone else he faced this season.
+4: The Maple Leafs have outscored the Stars by four goals this season, winning the two games against the Stars by a combined 7-3 margin. That's an interesting turn of events considering the Stars have the second-highest goals-per-game total (3.50) in the NHL while the Maple Leafs rank fourth-worst in goals-per-game with a 2.13 total.
13: Toronto had 13 separate players record a point over the two games against the Stars this season. Four separate Leafs players had multi-point games against the Stars (Jake Gardiner, Joffrey Lupul, Morgan Rielly and Brad Boyes). Only six players managed to record points for the Stars.
The losses to the Maple Leafs are extra concerning for the Stars since all four Stars losses this season have come against teams which are under .500. Dallas might be suffering a case of playing down to its opponent, but regardless of what plagues the Stars against the Maple Leafs, Toronto will happily take the wins.
