Senators recall G Lehner from AHL

Published Jan. 7, 2011 5:02 p.m. ET

The Ottawa Senators recalled goaltender Robin Lehner on an emergency basis from their AHL affiliate Friday to replace the injured Pascal Leclaire.

Lehner played for Sweden at the world junior hockey championship.

It's the second emergency call-up for Lehner, who made his NHL debut Oct. 16 at Montreal, stopping all three shots he faced while Brian Elliott replaced a broken skate.

He also was Elliott's backup in seven NHL games.

Lehner is 3-5-1 in 10 AHL games with Binghamton, N.Y.
