Buffalo center Derek Roy left the Sabres' game Thursday night against the Florida Panthers because of a left leg injury and didn't return.
Roy was hurt with 13 minutes left in the first period after Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov drove Roy into the right wing boards while he was carrying the puck into the Florida zone. Roy was favoring his leg while skating off the ice, and went directly to the locker room.
Roy leads the Sabres with 35 points - 10 goals and 25 assists - in 35 games this season.
