Buffalo Sabres center Jochen Hecht has sustained an upper body injury that forced him to miss the third period of a game against the Ottawa Senators.
The Sabres didn't provide any details of Hecht's injury on Sunday. Hecht was playing in his second game after he missed four games because of an undisclosed upper body injury.
Playing at home for the first time since a seven-game trip, the Sabres were also without forward Drew Stafford, who missed a second game because of a hamstring injury.
