Richards revels in day with Stanley Cup

Brad Richards certainly loves a good parade.

The former Chicago Blackhawks forward initially celebrated in the Windy City last month after the club claimed its third Stanley Cup title in six seasons by besting the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Richards, who signed with the Detroit Red Wings on July 1, also enjoyed himself with an estimated crowd of 4,000 on Tuesday after bringing the Cup home to Murray Harbour, Prince Edward Island.

"When I brought the Cup here 11 years ago, I thought, 'OK, I'll be back five or six times,'" Richards told the crowd, according to The Guardian. "Then I found out how hard it is to win this thing ... but I'm thinking about another one."

Richards, who also won the Stanley Cup with the Lightning in 2004, enjoyed this experience by boarding the family's fishing boat with his father Glen, mother Delite, wife Rechelle and son Luca. The youngest member of the Richards family even got in on the fun by having his breakfast in the Cup.
