PITTSBURGH (AP) A resurgent Sidney Crosby has helped put the Pittsburgh Penguins' rough start firmly behind them.
Crosby has 14 points in 11 games this month for Pittsburgh, which moved into the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with a 2-0 win over the New Jersey Devils on Monday night.
Crosby collected his 17th goal of the season in the win. He has nine goals in Pittsburgh's last nine home games, one of the reasons the Penguins have put together a 5-1-2 surge into the All-Star break.

Coach Mike Sullivan praised Crosby for playing ''inspired hockey.'' Crosby says he's more focused on keeping the momentum going into the second half of the year.
