Red Wings need robbers to beat Lightning for rest of series

Sometimes a lead in a playoff series does not indicate which team played best. That is certainly true of the Lightning/Red Wings series in which the Red Wings hold a 2-1 series lead but the Lightning are clearly the better team.
As The Detroit Hustle pointed out, the Red Wings boast some pretty bad statistics; Detroit took 37.6 percent of the total shots in the series, the lowest number of any team in the playoffs. The Red Wings' Corsi for is also a playoff-worst at 43.3 percent. And who could forget Game 1, when the Wings won, 3-2, despite tallying just 14 shots on net?
So as The Detroit Hustle surmised, if the Red Wings do win the series, it would be more of a theft than a victory. The main robber in this scenario would be goalie Petr Mrazek, who can steal a game or two but probably won't steal his way to a Cup win.
"A team that’s consistently without the puck can only survive with a hot goalie," The Detroit Hustle wrote. "Coming into the playoffs, Mrazek wasn’t a candidate. He’s young and isn’t consistent enough to string enough fantastic starts together.
"But this isn’t the course of a season. This is now at most four games. He’s capable of keeping his head for three out of the four games. He’s done it multiple times."
