Red Wings lose Miller, Pulkkinen so injuries

DETROIT (AP) The Detroit Red Wings have lost forwards Drew Miller and Teemu Pulkkinen to injuries that are expected to keep both out for over a month.

The team says Miller is expected to miss about six weeks with a broken jaw, and Pulkkinen is expected to miss six to eight weeks with a dislocated right shoulder.

The 31-year-old Miller has one goal and one assist in 26 games this season. The 23-year-old Pulkkinen has six goals and five assists in 24 games.
