New York Islanders Daily: Johnny Boychuk's Playoff Struggles

It’s no secret that Johnny Boychuk struggled during the Islanders playoff run last year. He even admitted it himself while talking with Newsday’s Arthur Staple.
“Regular season was good, playoffs was a little disappointed in myself,” Boychuk said. “We did win a playoff series but for myself, I should have been better.”
At least he knows it right? He’s a veteran he knows the drill. I’m not as worried as everyone else seems to be about Boychuk regressing, I just think it was a slump. I’m not ready to call Johnny Rocket over the hill just yet.
