Marchand notes early change in Bruins' team chemistry
Brad Marchand turned some heads early in training camp when he told reporters that the Bruins were a team divided last season, but just a few weeks into the preseason, it seems Marchand is noticing a change as far as team chemistry goes.
That change comes in a little bit of a microcosm, as Marchand said the line featuring Patrice Bergeron, Loui Eriksson and himself is starting to come together as a group.
"It's coming along. We're trying to work on it every day," Marchand told reporters following a 3-1 preseason loss to the Red Wings. "It might take a little bit of time but it's a lot better than last time we tried it. I feel a lot more comfortable with Loui out there and he's making good plays. He's a really good player so I think we're going to be a good line."
The line combined for six of the Bruins' 32 shots on net Monday night, and Eriksson scored the lone goal of the game for the Bruins on a power play late in the third period.
