Jeff Skinner showed off elite deking ability on beautiful penalty shot goal

Jeff Skinner and his Carolina Hurricanes had quite the night in Brooklyn on Monday. The Canes went into the Islanders' house and lit them up for eight goals in a winning effort, with two of those goals belonging to Skinner.
The second of the two came on a penalty shot in the third period. Going up against Isles goaltender Thomas Griess, the 24-year-old Skinner showcased his elite skating and stick-handling ability as he dangled the goalie into submission. After a flurry of side-to-side moves, Skinner was able to tuck the puck past Greiss for the goal.
It's worth another look.

It was a filthy display of skill, one that was good enough to make you feel just a little bit sympathetic for the poor goaltender in that situation.
