Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender James Reimer started getting time in net at the beginning of the month due to an injury to starter Jonathan Bernier, but he has kept his spot as the starting goaltender thanks to stellar performances. But just how good has James Reimer been?

The answer is unbelievably good. According to the National Post, Reimer is riding the best 10-game stretch of any goaltender in Maple Leafs history.

Reimer has a .953 save percentage in his last 10 games after recording 326 saves on 342 shots, marking the best save percentage in a 10-game stretch by a Maple Leafs goaltender since shots became an official statistic. Hall-of-Fame goaltender Ed Belfour now ranks second-best with a .952 save percentage over 10 games.

This stretch has seen Reimer playing consistently well, as he has not had a single shutout in his last 10 games to pad his numbers. In fact, the 27-year-old goalie has not had a shutout in over two years. His last blanking came on Oct. 29, 2013 when the Leafs beat the Oilers, 4-0.
