The issue of head shots in hockey games has been raised again, this time at the NHL board of governors meeting.
Building off discussions from last month's general managers meetings, NHL director of hockey operations Colin Campbell made a 45-minute video presentation Tuesday night, detailing changes in the game over the years.
``Our goal today is to really frame where this is for the owners and team presidents,'' Campbell told The Canadian Press. ``The managers have been through this time and time again. (It's important for the owners) because it's their players they're losing through these hits and concussions.''
The players' union would like a rule established that would ban dangerous head shots that have led to concussions.
