Calgary Flames draft pick Oliver Kylington is headed to North America.
The 18-year-old defenseman was granted permission by Swedish club AIK to move closer to the team that selected him with the 60th overall pick of the 2015 draft.
"We do not stop Oliver from the opportunity he has been given," AIK general manager Anders Gozzi told the Allsvenskan club's website, according to the Swedish newspaper Expressen.

Kylington signed his entry-level deal with the Flames on July 15, but likely will play for either the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League or the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League.
