Coyotes re-sign Connauton, add McBain among 5 deals

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) The Arizona Coyotes have re-signed defenseman Kevin Connauton to a two-year contract and signed former Los Angeles Kings defenseman Jamie McBain to a one-year deal.

Arizona also signed defenseman Jarred Tinordi, forward Garret Ross and goalie Justin Peters to one-year deals on Friday.

Connauton had five goals and 12 assists in 65 games with Arizona and Columbus last season. He has 15 goals and 31 assists in 163 career games.

McBain played 44 games for the Kings last season, finishing with two goals and seven assists. He has 30 goals and 80 assists in 345 career games, with Los Angeles, Buffalo and Carolina.

Tinordi had six assists in 53 career games with Arizona and Montreal.

Peters has gone 25-37-9 with a 3.08 goals-against average in 80 career games.
