The Chicago Blackhawks overcame multiple deficits Saturday to post a Central Division victory over the St. Louis Blues
Good morning, Chicago Blackhawks fans. This edition of morning links comes on the back of some good news, as the Blackhawks knocked off the St. Louis Blues 6-4 on Saturday to sweep a three-game road trip.
Of course, it wasn’t all perfect. Center Artem Anisimov left in the first period with what was then an undisclosed injury. It was later reported Anisimov’s injury was upper body, and that he’ll be day to day.

Also, the Blackhawks weren’t exactly solid in this game, despite the win. They trailed four separate times, as goaltender Scott Darling appeared a bit fatigued throughout the night. Coach Joel Quenneville suggested after the game that Lars Johansson may get a run today against the San Jose Sharks.
But after last night, we’re looking at the Blackhawks on a four-game win streak and sitting atop the league with 46 points. It’s good the team is picking up points now, as the Minnesota Wild have gotten really hot. They’ve taken seven straight contests and now sit second in the Central Division, six points behind Chicago.
The end of the calendar year is approaching fast, and the Blackhawks have just six games left in 2016. The first of those comes tonight against the San Jose Sharks.
Tyler Motte, who was a healthy scratch Saturday, projects to play Sunday. Michal Kempny and Michal Rozsival were healthy scratches against the Blues, so it should be interesting to see what the blue line looks like today.
