Buffalo Sabres Fan Chatter: Preseason Game #6, Or The Other One Against Carolina

The Buffalo Sabres get The Factor back – will he live up to his nickname in the team’s second straight game against the Hurricanes?
The Buffalo Sabres are in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario tonight, taking on the Carolina Hurricanes for the second straight evening.
It’s not just the location that will be different from last night’s 2-0 win in Marquette, Michigan; the Sabres will also be skating a few different players tonight than they did Tuesday, including Ryan O’Reilly, who will be skating in his first preseason game with the team.
Don’t expect ROR to be rusty; after all, he did just finish winning the 2016 World Cup of Hockey with team Canada, so he should already be in regular-season shape. Hell, just his presence might have had an influence on how well the Sabres played against Carolina Tuesday evening, according to what Dan Bylsma had to say when asked about O’Reilly’s return (courtesy of NHL.com):
Our team got smarter, it got better, it got harder-working. Our coaches got better today. When Ryan comes back, he’s that type of player.
While it doesn’t look like we will be seeing Jack Eichel, Sam Reinhart, Tyler Ennis or Kyle Okposo tonight, we will get a chance to see how well prospect Alexander Nylander performs skating alongside The Factor and Evander Kane:
#Sabres lines this morning:
Kane – ROR – Nylander
Bailey – Grant – Gionta
Moulson – C. O’Reilly – Fasching
Schneider – Catenacci – Dupuy— Jourdon LaBarber (@JourdonLaBarber) October 5, 2016
Anyway, yesterday’s picks were of the Yes/No variety, and I see no reason to reinvent the wheel tonight! Here we go:
1. Will O’Reilly get 2 or more points tonight?
2. Will Alexander Nylander get a point tonight?
3. Will Linus Ullmark give up two goals or less?
4. Will Justin Falk (Sabres) have a better +/- than Justin Faulk (Hurricanes)?
5. Will the Buffalo Sabres win?
The Buffalo Sabres are missing some firepower tonight, but their first line of forwards should make things interesting. Leave your picks, and try to beat our winner from last night, Allen!
