Bruins still concerned over possibility of foot fracture for David Pastrnak

Bruins forward David Pastrnak still is not practicing due to a bruised foot, and although team doctors determined last week that Pastrnak's foot is not broken, the team apparently is not very confident in that diagnosis.
The foot is filled with small bones which make diagnosing fractures and treating foot injuries highly complicated.
"We always fear those things when guys get hit in the foot," Julien told reporters. "And we had a couple of guys last game get hit in the foot, as well. So, there’s always that fear. Sometimes there’s some damage in there that’s not dangerous; you’ve just got to put up with the pain. And some other ones, you have to be careful with. Those are the things that you deal with when you have foot injuries."
The team sent veteran forward Max Talbot back to Providence on Monday night, which seemingly indicated that Pastrnak could be ready to return soon, but Julien told reporters that Pastrnak is not healing as quickly as the team expected.
The 19-year-old winger has four points (two goals, two assists) in 10 games this season. He has not played since Halloween, meaning he has had nearly two weeks to heal.
