Bruins' Joe Morrow had what sounds like an exceptionally terrible case of the flu

It's not often that a player goes down early in the season with the flu, and normally stricken players only miss a couple of days of action, but Bruins defenseman seems to have had a pretty terrible version of the virus.
Morrow was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 14, and it took him a week before he was able to return to practice Tuesday morning for the Bruins. But his return does not mean he will immediately come off of IR, as Morrow's bout with the flu seems to have taken a serious toll on his body.
Morrow told reporters he first got sick on the night of Oct. 13 and was vomiting from midnight to 8 a.m. The less graphic reports on his condition still sound pretty terrible.
It is certainly good to hear that Morrow is finally feeling better. The Bruins have to hope the bug won't spread any further in their locker room than Morrow.
