The Boston Bruins and David Pastrnak can't seem to catch a break when it comes to keeping the young forward in the lineup. Pastrnak missed over a month of NHL action at the end of 2015 due to a broken foot, then spent time building up his confidence by playing for the Czech Republic in the World Junior Championship.

The 19-year-old was recalled back to the Bruins last week and played in three games before missing out on the action Wednesday against the Philadelphia Flyers, this time with an upper-body injury.

With Pastrnak on the shelf, the Bruins turned back to rookie Frank Vatrano, who was a healthy scratch for Monday's game against the New York Rangers. Still, Pastrnak's efforts to gain some momentum at the NHL level will take another hit thanks to the latest injury.

The 19-year-old has played in 13 games this year for the Bruins and has five points (three goals, two assists) in that time.
