The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed defenseman Ryan Murray on injured reserve, sidelining him for the next four to six weeks with a high ankle sprain.
Murray, injured in Friday night's 7-1 win over St. Louis, missed 44 games earlier this season due to a knee injury. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2013 draft has one assist in seven games.
