WR coach Mike Groh leaves Chicago for Los Angeles
The Chicago Bears' offensive coaching staff took another hit this week, when former wide receivers coach Mike Groh accepted a position with the Los Angeles Rams.
Groh will be the Rams' passing game coordinator/wide receivers coach in 2016.

Groh was a holdover from the Marc Trestman era who had a particularly tough job in 2015. His wide receivers were ravaged by injuries, so he prepared several inexperienced players for emergency fill-in roles. The Bears were counting on Groh to help Kevin White bounce back from a shin injury that cost the seventh-overall draft pick his entire rookie season.
Chicago has been shifting coaching personnel since former offensive coordinator Adam Gase left for the Miami Dolphins' head-coaching job. Dowell Loggains was promoted to offensive coordinator from quarterbacks coach; the Bears hired Dave Ragone, previously a quality control coach with the Washington Redskins, to fill Loggains' old role.
Now, in light of Groh's departure, the Bears have to find a new wide receivers coach.
